It was an official visit to Alwar , a town of forts in Rajasthan.
The journey began from Chennai in the evening by 1830 hrs.
by boarding an auto to the Kamaraj domestic airport .
Once all the check-in and security formalities were over, I was waiting for my Jet Airways Flight.
This was my maiden flight Journey.
The ground staff announced the boarding call to the Delhi bound flight.
It took off smoothly and I enjoyed the smooth flight along with dinner served on-board.
It was a awestruck moment to watch the glittering city with lights from the dark and clear sky.
before i could realize, the flight had landed at IGI airport terminal at just past Midnight after three hours of travel.
The Next morning my Journey continued to Alwar by boarding the Shatabdi Train bound to Ajmer from New Delhi. In Three hours i reached Alwar. The city of forts.....
I later learnt that this Shatabdi Train was the fastest train in India among the rest.
The hospitality and the stay at ALWAR was astonishing.
Though it was a small town the accommodation available at this place was top notch.
The business meet was successful and my return journey to Chennai was booked.
Next morning a cab was arranged to drop me off at IGI airport from Alwar. The journey took 2.5 Hrs.
and immediately I boarded the Air-India Express Flight bound to Chennai.
The Journey culminated in three hours and was back to Chennai by Noon.!!!

After landing I chose to take a Taxi to go to my Guest House.Thus i took the airport prepaid taxi at the IGI airport Terminal. Almost half hour was spent at the counter to negotiate the long que to book the taxi.
Then the Car driver pondered over my pre-paid receipt and dropped me at our Guest House located near New Delhi Railway station in 45 minutes.
